The Demo Union Conference serves as the central headquarters for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Northeastern United States and Bermuda. It supports and coordinates six local conferences in their mission to spread faith and provide resources to congregations across this diverse region.

Adults — open to the public
A practical, hands-on day exploring holistic wellbeing from a faith perspective. Hear from doctors and nutritionists, get a free health check, and join workshops on stress management, plant-based eating, and restorative rest. Open to the whole community.
True health is more than the absence of illness. This one-day event brings together medical professionals, nutritionists, and pastoral counsellors to explore what it looks like to care for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — in a way that is sustainable and grounded in faith.
Sessions and workshops
The morning features two keynote presentations: the first by a physician on the science of lifestyle medicine, and the second by a counsellor on the connection between spiritual health and emotional resilience. After lunch, four parallel workshops run in rotation — covering plant-based cooking (with tastings), movement and rest cycles, managing anxiety, and a faith-based approach to health decisions.
Throughout the day, free health screenings are available: blood pressure, BMI, and a basic nutrition consultation. No appointment needed — simply walk up to the screening station between sessions.
Who should come
This event is intentionally open to the public. You do not need to be a church member or hold any particular beliefs to attend. If you are curious about your health and open to a holistic perspective, you are welcome here.
